RM of Lac du Bonnet under State of Emergency due to soil drifting and heavy rainfall
The Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet has declared a State of Local Emergency (SoLE) due to a combination of significant soil drifting events, impaired drainage infrastructure, recent heavy rainfall, and forecasted precipitation that threatens to cause widespread flooding.
The SoLE exists for all lands within the RM of Lac du Bonnet west of Provincial Trunk Highway #11.
The broader public need not take any action at this time. No roads within the RM are currently flooded and no orders are in effect.
