A Pleasure Craft Operator Card is required to operate power-driven boats and watercraft in Canada - It’s The Law.
Every person who operates a motorized boat in Canada must obtain proof of competency. You can obtain a Pleasure Craft Operator Card by passing a Transport Canada Accredited boating safety test. Getting your Operator Card proves that you are a competent boater and ensures that you understand Canada’s navigation rules and how to boat safely.

Spring Road Restrictions in effect beginning Saturday, March 16
2024 Spring Road Restrictions begin at midnight, Saturday, March 16, and will be in effect until further notice. Further, the RM of Lac du Bonnet hereby gives notice that the spring road restrictions will follow the province's dates unless otherwise notified.
During this time, roads will be posted with limits of 65 per cent normal axle loads, excluding front axle on all municipal B1 roads and 90 per cent normal axle loading for water and sewer services on all B1 municipal roads. Under special circumstances, an access permit may be granted.
The Purpose of spring road restrictions are to protect roadways from damage during the spring freeze/thaw conditions. The Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet requests and thanks you for your co-operation in complying with the listed restrictions.
